About the book

This is a Proposal to the Seventh-day Adventist Church to change their doctrines regarding Divorce and Remarriage. It is written from a 'Radical Arch-Conservative' point of view and argues for the total Abolition of Divorce and a total ban on Divorcee Remarriage. Most of the arguments are based on the Bible. One argument is based on the Rules of Grammar, specifically, that it is a Rule of Grammar and Logic that a dependent clause cannot modify (refer) to another phrase across a conjunction. Thus, the 'exception clause' of Matthew 19:9 can only refer to 'putting away' and cannot refer to 'marries another' because of the intervening conjunction 'And'. This means that all divorcee remarriage is adultery irrespective of the legality of the separation. [Note: the author places this work in the Public Domain. 1993]
