Snowbird

Anne Murray is an undisputed pop and country music superstar whose music has become an international treasure. Her silver, gold, and platinum records are almost countless, and her Grammy, Juno, and other musical awards seem endless. As a young artist from Springhill, Nova Scotia, she was nurtured on the same Maritime musical traditions that have inspired Hank Snow, Don Messer, Wilf Carter, Rita McNeil, and so many others. Private and elusive, she is also warm and straightforward, blessed by a rich voice and a gift for discovering songs which are perfectly suited to her compelling vocal interpretation. A mother, wife, businesswoman, and performer who conducts her life on her own terms, Anne Murray remains a staggering musical success.
