Suspicion (Kate Logan #1)

A YOUNG LAW CLERK IS KILLED. A HIGH-PRICED CALL GIRL IS STRANGLED. TWO MEN ARE FRAMED FOR THEIR MURDERS. AND ONE WOMAN INTENDS TO PROVE THEIR INNOCENCE. Defense attorney Kate Logan has become embroiled in two important murder cases. One is the defense of her housekeeper's son, charged with killing his girlfriend. The other is the defense of her ex-husband for strangling a prostitute. Kate knows neither man is guilty, but the evidence and witnesses say otherwise. With the help of homicide detective Mitch Calhoun Kate races to unearth the clues that can clear both men - and discovers evidence suggesting that the two cases may be connected. But when her life, and the life of her teenage daughter, are threatened, Kate and Mitch realize they have stumbled into a maze of corruption and murder. Where no one is above...Suspicion.
