System of a Soul

Let me speak for a moment as a writer. It has been said that poetry is not literature and that one is more artistic than the other. These walls that separate what is in essence writing from our souls need to come down. System of a Soul is my poetry, my life in reflection. Ben Templesmith, an artist with a talent that outshines many classic painters and who has chosen comicbooks as his means of expression, created the illustrations. A wise poet once said: "As long as there are people, they can remember the words and combinations of words. Nothing else can survive a holocaust but poetry and songs. No one can remember an entire novel. No one can describe a film, a piece of a sculpture, a painting, but so long as there are human beings, song and poetry can continue." - Jim MorrisonThat poet was also a rock star. Open the door, step through and create a new method of thought.
