The Arab Israeli Struggle

Dr. Pfeiffer places current Middle East events against the historical and cultural background of the people involved. The result is an enlightening presentation of a knotty problem. Failures and accomplishments of both Jews and Arabs are acknowledged. The role the Big Powers are playing is described. The conflict is not minimized but sympathetically examined by the author who has warm friends among both the Jews and the Arabs. This book provides excellent background material for understanding daily news reports on the ever-changing Middle East situation. - Back cover.
