A facsimile reproduction of Frida Kahlo's illustrated diary, with a transcription in English translation and introductory texts. Twenty years after the first edition of The Diary of Frida Kahlo, La Vaca Independiente publishes once more the facsimile of this intimate document, which, for the last ten years of her life, became an intimate space, a refuge and the mirror of her soul. In The Diary of Frida Kahlo, A New Perspective, Karen Cordero Reiman and Eduardo Casar invite us to feel, listen and appreciate its visual and literary shapes. To discover how both the artist s talents cohabitate in these pages. Invoking the five senses and imagination -- Provided by the publisher.
