The Life of David Brainerd

David Brainerd's diary reveals him as a remarkable example of true, eminent piety in heart and practice. From the time Brainerd began to study theology until his death, he daily "walked with God" or mourned the absence of the light of his countenance. Jonathan Edwards says in his preface, "It [Brainerd's life] is most worthy of imitation, and in many ways calculated to promote the spiritual benefit of the careful observer." - Back cover.
