About the book
Diary kept by Rutanya Alda, who played the part of Carol Ann, during the filming of the 1981 movie Mommie Dearest. Alda delves into the art, the business, and the wild milieu of American cinema by taking you behind the scenes of the 1981 motion picture, Mommie Dearest. While playing the role of Carol Ann, Joan Crawford's faithful housekeeper, Alda kept a journal of this troubled production.
