The real scorpion king

"Modern archaeologists, who explore the desolate deserts of Egypt, believe they have uncovered evidence about the first ruling dynasty in Egyptian history, a dynasty that existed some five thousand years ago. The first pharaoh, the so-called "Scorpion King," may have introduced the first Egyptian writing system, promoted the use of ritual warfare, initiated the establishment of organized religion and sponsored monumental building projects."
