The Scarlet Temptress

HE RODE FOR LIBERTY -- SHE ROBBED FOR JUSTICE Samantha Fleming, disguised as the sultry Scarlet Temptress, flamboyantly rides the lush Virginia countryside robbing rich colonial nobles to save her father from unjust imprisonment. Matching the raben-haired beauty's courage is the one man who can lay claim to her proud heart-Jason Kincaid, a bold and dashing patriot who fearlessly distributes banned pamphlets in the guise of the notorious Devilrider. As the colonies stand perilously poised on the brink of the American Revolution, the intrepid pair of secret agents are strictly forbidden to reveal their true identities-even to each other. But when British soldiers capture the Devilrider in a deadly game of cat and mouse, and the Scarlet Temptress dares a stunning resuce, they are brought close to the truth...and to a love that is as passionate and heated the the cause they so bravely champion.
