The winds of time

"In this groundbreaking work Rich DeSilvio posits bold new perspectives on the most crucial figures and primary cultures that shaped Western civilization ... With solid facts, the author proves how the Roman Republic and Roman Empire had a far greater impact on history and America than the flawed and mistakenly praised Greek democracy. Compelling evidence is likewise presented that restores the stellar reputations of courageous men like Columbus and Augustus, while the heavily guarded realm of religious history receives a deep and probing analysis with illuminating candor ... Moreover, he points out how imperative it is to preserve the golden aspects of America's superior culture that have been sold out or defiled by the radical left and politically correct who place multiculturalism and passivity above solidarity and strength."--(from the dust jacket)
