Transboundary Environmental Problems and Cultural Theory

"In this book Marco Verweij makes the first all-out attempt to introduce the cultural theory developed by Mary Douglas, Michael Thompson, Aaron Wildavsky and others to the study of international relations. This cultural analysis has become the topic of a heated debate in other fields of social science. By extending the theory to the study of world politics, this volume presents a new and challenging theoretical framework with which to understand world politics."--BOOK JACKET.
