Translation and Academic Journals

"This volume comes at a time of rapid expansion in the discipline of Translation Studies, accompanied by the proliferation of related journals. The evolving academic landscape is characterized by increasing interaction among editors, authors, and readers to facilitate knowledge sharing on a global scale. Editors of leading journals in the field, along with other experts, probe the interactive relationship between the production of journals and the development of Translation Studies by providing an overall contextual framework for evaluating the field. They examine many facets of journal publishing and the process of the flow of submissions, and they offer valuable advice for readers seeking to create publishable research. In addition, a representative range of chapters are also included to advance discussion of current concerns in the discipline by rethinking the related frameworks and paradigms"-- "Translation and Academic Journals is a timely contribution to a great need. Some of its contributors are journal editors, who have taken up the task to explore the role of journal publication with regard to translation in a changing context of scholarly publishing by engaging in dialogue with potential authors"--
