Twin Cities Picture Show

"Twin Cities Picture Show offers a fascinating trip through cinematic history, beginning with the first movie showing at the Bijou Opera House in Minneapolis on a sweltering August day in 1896. The film's captivating life-like scenes wowed the audience, marking the genesis of a great Minnesota pastime that, by 1911, drew a quarter-million customers to metro neighborhood theaters each week."--Jacket.
