Windows on Jesus

"The four New Testament Gospels are four "windows on Jesus." Each evangelist gives his own view of Jesus. The views are similar but deep differences are often concealed within this similarity." ""Windows on Jesus" also refers to the many methods and approaches used in present-day exegesis of the Gospels. Professor Wim Weren offers a harmonious and thorough search of these methods by grouping them into "four large windows," each of which in turn consists of different panes." "Throughout the book brief theoretical introductions are followed by examples and illustrations, and a series of suggested exercises is included at the end of the book to stimulate users to explore the Gospels on their own."--BOOK JACKET.
